Journal 9 With reference to the image below and answer the following questions:Digital Media

1.) Define the term ‘digital media’.

Digital media is when you can  send, receive, delete items digital form.  some of those items are sounds, music, video, text, pictures.

2.) How has digital media evolved over the last 5-10 years?

An example is when they have some news report on the internet instead of just writing now they will have video clips and picture on the article aswell.

3.) Discuss the reasons why digital newspapers are extremely popular?

because people find it more interesting using the internet than newpappers.

1.) Watch the following clip:

Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.

Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would run to the train guard and tell him whats going on the bus and tell him to stop the fight and also tell him to settle it down.

Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.

Discuss what you would do in this situation.

I would talk to the girl and tell her its the wrong thing to do be causing a riot. People can get seriously injured in riots and because they are girls they wil be injured more than males and get more bruisers

Describe how a persons conscience works in making moral decisions. Explain the relationship between religion and conscience.
 

People get influenced to do the wrong things, Their biggest influence is their friends ( Peer pressure )

If people get into trouble people laugh at them and they get influenced to do it again and again.

in the article it shows that the man is fighting with the law.

3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’.

morality is when someone does the right the right thing in life and immorality is basically the opposite of moriality

4.) Watch the following clip and describe the reasons why Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded as ‘immoral’

i would be very dissapointed because i couldnt not access the internet for all my work for school and also i wont be able to talk to my friends on the internet when i am at home and i cant socialise with people.

- Editor – the roll for the editor is to edit the information to that the journalist write so that he is able to go and publish the article to the newspaper.


- Reporter – the reporter is someone that writes the articles for the newspaper

- Journalist – the journalist is the person who goes  and gets the infomation like going somewhere and collects infomation on the case.

- Designer – a designer  designers each page, he stes them up like from where to put the picture and how the article is goin to be set out on the news paper.

how to motivate people to complete there work?

They way i would motivate people in my group to complete there work is to encourage them for what they are doing and also i can motivate them by just giving them helping hand on what they are doing and also i can try to be a leader in my group
